Red Dust is based on Taiwanese director/performer Wu Wen-Cui’s responses to lyrics by 2005 Cultural Medallion recipient artist Chng Seok Tin. Through her voice and choreography, she depicts the events and sentiments of Chng Seok Tin’s experience of falling into darkness – and eventually overcoming it. Two recent installation works by Chng Seok Tin will also be incorporated in the set and performance.

“Wu Wen-Cui presents … powerful images of body in motion.”
